The month-long 2026 Yangzhou "Flowery March" International Economy, Trade and Tourism Festival opened on April 18, gathering global guests to explore new opportunities for cooperation with Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.

Rupert Hoogewerf, founder and chief researcher of Hurun Report, hailed the development of Yangzhou city and Jiangsu province during an interview on the sideline of the opening ceremony of an investment promotion event in Yangzhou.

Over 30 travel operators and influencers from over 10 countries including France, Spain, Portugal, Russia, and South Korea arrived in Yangzhou on April 20.
