Chefs from Yangzhou demonstrated Huaiyang culinary arts with breathtaking knife skills — slicing tofu into fine strands that bloom like a chrysanthemum in soup, and cutting lettuce into delicate web-like patterns. They also stir-fried the iconic Yangzhou Fried Rice, blending over 10 ingredients to perfection.
Russian guests gathered to film and taste, sharing the experience on social media and praising the flavors of the "UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy".

Performers from Geyuan Garden presented a fusion piece combining Yangzhou Ditty with rod puppetry, crossing language barriers with Jiangnan charm.
This marked the first time Yangzhou's ICH was showcased on a national-level diplomatic platform in Russia. From the breathtaking knife work to the captivating puppetry, Yangzhou brought the elegance of Huaiyang culture to a wider global audience while strengthening China-Russia cultural ties.
