Yangzhou is rolling out a rich lineup of events for the upcoming May Day holiday, inviting visitors to explore the city's cultural charm, natural beauty, and sports vitality.

At Slender West Lake, the Flower Festival will take visitors through five themed floral seasons revolving around peach blossoms, crabapples, cherry blossoms, viburnum, and peonies. The event also features intangible cultural heritage fairs, traditional Chinese performances, flower exhibitions, and art displays.
Flower-themed celebrations will also take place at the Zaolinwan Tourist Resort, where visitors will be able to enjoy antique-style fairs, floral workshops, and spring study tours.

Art lovers should not miss the immersive water show at the Kempinski Hotel Yangzhou. It reinterprets the poem The Moon over the River on a Spring Night through light, dance, and water effects.
Another highlight is an immersive stage play at the Yangzhou Grand Canal Theater. It will bring the audience on a journey through the Han (206 BC–220) and Tang (618–907) dynasties, allowing them to trace the monk Jianzhen's eastward voyage to Japan and step into the artistic world of the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou.
Sports enthusiasts can find thrills in the Deep Dive Grand Canal Center, which offers kayaking experiences, basic training, and fun races.
