From the first to the fifth day of Chinese New Year, thousands of drones took off from Slender West Lake at 8:30 pm, lighting up the sky with images of local landmarks and horse patterns in a dazzling celebration of the Year of the Horse.

As night fell, Heyuan Garden captivated with its immersive performance "Moonlight over the He Mansion". Visitors wandered through lantern-lit corridors and shimmering ponds as engaging stories of historical figures unfolded around them, bringing the past to life and revealing the nighttime magic of Chinese classic gardens.

Lit up by red lanterns, Dongguan Street, a historic 1,122-meter-long pedestrian street dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618–907), was thronged with tourists.
