At 149.5 meters, Tongshan Mountain is the highest peak in central Jiangsu province. Today, it's a provincial-level forest park.
The mountain received its name from Liu Bi, the king of Wu during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24), who is believed to have smelted copper and minted coins in this area.
The sunrise over the summit is a stunning sight not to be missed. After reaching the top, a panoramic view featuring expansive farmlands, clear lakes, and distant hills unfolds.
