Yangzhou's Geyuan Garden, one of China's most famous gardens, launched its night tour on April 1, following a complete upgrade of its environment, performances, and visitor interactions.

A key feature of this year's upgrade is the use of modern lighting to highlight the aesthetics of traditional Chinese landscaping.
At the Four-season Rockeries area, a pavilion has been reshaped with layered lighting that highlights the delicate curves of its flying eaves.
Meanwhile, decorative windows at Qingsong Hall and Spring Hill have been lit, with light tracing their intricately carved patterns.

Visitors entering from the north gate will begin their audio-visual experience with a creative classical dance at Wufu Square.
Walking south, they will be immersed in a fairy-tale atmosphere north of the Mountain-embracing Building (Baoshan Lou), where the bright moon, blooming flowers, and rockeries make for a beautiful sight, accompanied by the ethereal sound of the konghou, an ancient Chinese stringed instrument.
The soft sound of the Yangzhou Ditty will linger in the Four-season Rockeries area, allowing visitors to appreciate the deep cultural roots of the region amid the pavilions and waterside halls.
The tour will end with the gentle flow of a vertical zither and a classical dance at the southern residence.

According to the garden's management, the upgrade is not just a new interpretation of the garden's nighttime scenery but also a living continuation of Yangzhou's local culture.
