Construction on the Yangzhou iQIYI Land has entered its final phase, with the venue slated to open in early 2026. This marks a major effort by iQIYI, one of China's major online entertainment platforms, to expand into offline experiences.

Unlike mega theme parks, this attraction will be an immersive indoor experience space with a small scale, enhanced interactions, and rapid iterations.
"The core mission is to empower cultural products with science and technology and create immersive, full sensory experiences," said a project representative.

Upon entering, visitors will be immersed in parallel universes of hit Chinese series.
They can touch meticulously recreated sets of Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, wander through a nostalgic street corner to find the home of Gao Qiqiang from The Knockout, or strike a pose alongside a carriage identical to the one featured in Mysterious Lotus Casebook.
Digital technologies transform fictional tales into real-life journeys that visitors can step into, touch, and engage with, the project representative added.

The experience goes far beyond sightseeing. A single visit will extend into a complete consumption ecosystem. The attraction will feature seven different forms of entertainment, including holographic projections, immersive performances, and mixed-reality games, and be equipped with themed dining areas and retail stores for cultural derivatives.
