At Geyuan Garden, another celebrated classical garden in Yangzhou, wanderers passed through moonlit bamboo groves where guqin (a seven-stringed Chinese zither) music lingered, or paused inside Qingyi Pavilion to savor the melodious Yangzhou Ditty (an ancient type of folk music) — each step revealing a new layer of cultural splendor.
