A cultural feast will unfold with non-stop wonders. Events such as the Guazhou Music Festival will light up the serene season with musical melodies, while traditional performances like storytelling, Yangzhou Ditty, and puppet shows will present cultural splendors.
Autumn in Yangzhou is a riot of colors. The red maples in Slender West Lake, Heyuan Garden, and Geyuan Garden will create picturesque scenes against classical architecture, while gingko trees at Song Jia City Sports & Leisure Park, Shi Kefa Ancestral Tomb, Shita Temple, and Tianning Temple will blanket the city in gold. The pink muhly grass at the Yunhe Sanwan scenic area and Yangzhou International Horticultural Expo Garden will create a romantic landscape for visitors.

Well-known as a "UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy", Yangzhou is offering an autumn gourmet extravaganza. Time-honored brands like Fuchun and Yechun offer comforting dishes included in zaocha, an elegant morning meal ritual, such as shredded dried tofu and shrimp wontons. Shang Palace, a Chinese restaurant in Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou, serves delicate Huaiyang cuisine, one of China's four great culinary traditions.

Nighttime holds enchanting delights, including dazzling night tours, like Slender West Lake's Tang Poetry-themed one and a Grand Canal cruise tour; captivating performances at the Yangzhou Grand Canal Theater and Dongguan Street; and night shows recreating the opulence of salt merchant banquets during prosperous dynasties.
On weekends when Yangzhou holds Jiangsu Football City League matches, the city offers free daytime admission to all state-owned scenic spots for residents of Jiangsu province and fans holding electronic tickets for Yangzhou home games.
