A delegation of 14 tourism professionals and media representatives from South Korea visited Yangzhou on June 14 for a two-day cultural exploration.
Their itinerary began at the Sun Island Golf Club. The landscaping design, blending natural beauty with facilities on par with international standards, left guests so amazed that most of them were willing to establish long-term partnerships with Yangzhou. They planned to facilitate mutual tourism exchanges by curating golf-themed tour routes.

A boat ride along the Slender West Lake left guests enchanted by its poetic scenery. "Photos fail to capture the surreal beauty of the lake. Every frame is worthy of a film," a journalist from South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo praised.

At the Memorial Hall of Choe Chiwon, the delegation learned about the ties between Choe Chiwon (857-10th century), a renowned Korean historical figure, and Yangzhou.
Later, they experienced Yangzhou's nighttime allure at Geyuan Garden, where classical architecture and modern lighting art were combined to create a mesmerizing visual spectacle.

On the second day, their trip culminated at the China Grand Canal Museum, where interactive exhibits and artifacts illuminated the historical and cultural significance of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
A South Korean media representative hailed the museum as a "living history book," pledging to advocate for Yangzhou's heritage upon returning home.
