The city was abuzz with festive folk activities at its iconic attractions. The Slender West Lake scenic area hosted a garden party featuring ancestral worship ceremonies and traditional parades. Geyuan Garden took visitors on a culinary journey through the "Twelve Reds" tradition, serving 12 auspicious, red-colored dishes that symbolized completeness, festivity, and well-being. Heyuan Garden organized zongzi-making sessions and family reunion events.
Nighttime offerings were also a big hit. Immersive night tours sailed along the ancient Grand Canal and the picturesque Slender West Lake. Dongguan Street presented an immersive experience blending salt-merchant culture and culinary delights.

Cultural and tourism markets flourished with nearly 20 bazaars blending intangible cultural heritage, trendy arts, and local flavors. Theaters also enjoyed popularity, staging over 120 performances and attracting over 11,000 spectators.

In celebration of Children's Day, eight state-owned scenic spots offered free daytime admission to children under 18. Cultural venues like the Yangzhou Museum launched over 10 exquisite exhibitions, collaborating on more than 100 research and learning activities, which attracted 82,000 visitors, a 67.5-percent rise over the previous year.
