Daming Temple
The Daming Temple is a national 4A scenic spot. Just like whacking on an old time vinyl and turning the music up loud, the temple's aged architecture brings feelings of comfort and nostalgia to the beholder.
Built during the Southern Dynasty (420- 589), the temple is a national cultural treasure for its religious buildings, relics, and beautiful gardens. Many famed monks, emperors, and princes, as well as cultural and literary celebrities, have visited the temple during its long history.
Notable attractions include the Jianzhen Memorial Hall, Pingshan Hall, Gulin Hall and Ouyang Memorial Hall.
