The Yangzhou Jianzhen International Half Marathon, an IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) Gold Label Road Race, was listed as one of the top 100 marathons by People's Daily Online on April 7.
Based on quality, popularity, and reputation, the Yangzhou Jianzhen International Half Marathon ranked 25th out of more than 300 marathons and third among half marathons.
This year's event has been postponed to Nov 8 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. For the sake of people's health, organizers have been working out plans to prevent the spread of the virus.
A series of events will be held this year to promote the quality and popularity of the Yangzhou Jianzhen International Half Marathon, according to organizers.
