Joining an event to promote friendly exchanges among the international community in Yangzhou, more than 20 expats from 14 countries explored Yizheng, a county-level city of Yangzhou, on June 5.
The tour kicked off at Longshan Forest Park. Amid lush bamboo forest and undulating green hills, visitors marveled at how this pristine natural environment had been beautifully restored from an abandoned quarry.

The group then explored Juyuanchun Tea Cooperative. Derek Poskin from the US, a passionate advocate for Chinese tea culture who has lived in Yangzhou for a decade, introduced the planting, processing, and tasting techniques of luyangchun (a kind of green tea), deepening the visitors' appreciation for Yizheng's tea culture.

The final stop was Weihang RV Company in Chenji town. Fascinated by the well-designed motorhomes, Kaif Farhan Israk, a student from Bangladesh, went live on social media to promote these made-in-China vehicles to his followers, creating a special cross-cultural connection.
Supported by the local government and universities, the event allowed friends from overseas to experience Yizheng's natural beauty, rich culture, and dynamic development, highlighting Yangzhou's commitment to expanding its global reach.
