First held in 2002 and now in its 25th edition, the annual festival has helped Yangzhou expand its global network, attract more investment, strengthen industrial chains, and improve its business ecosystem.

Yangzhou is committed to becoming a city with an annual GDP exceeding 1 trillion yuan ($146.54 billion) and will continue boosting advanced manufacturing, construction, modern services, and agriculture, according to a Yangzhou official's address.

The message resonated with some of the international guests. In an interview after the ceremony, Nuon Pharat, governor of Kampong Thom province in Cambodia, said his province hopes to learn from Yangzhou how to develop modern agriculture.

During the ceremony, an overseas service platform aimed at supporting Yangzhou enterprises in expanding abroad was unveiled, a Yangzhou overseas industrial innovation center was established, and the "Find China In Yangzhou" LinkedIn account was launched.

The event also saw the signing of agreements for 37 major projects, spanning foreign-invested ventures, central and state-owned enterprises, leading private firms, technological programs, and sci-tech innovation platforms.
