Cultural museums across Yangzhou jointly launched more than 40 events to celebrate the day, including boutique exhibitions, educational activities, and study tours, through integrated resources.

An exhibition of Yangzhou relics has opened at the special exhibition hall on the first floor of the Yangzhou Museum, bringing together over 100 cultural artifacts from across the city, including porcelain, gold, and jade wares.

The Memorial Hall of Shi Kefa, Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics Museum, Jiangdu Museum, Yizheng Museum, Gaoyou Museum, and Baoying Museum, designed and hosted calligraphy and painting exhibitions, yuhua stone (pebbles) exhibitions, and youth calligraphy and painting exhibitions.

Moreover, cross-cultural exchange exhibitions on Marco Polo, a world-renowned Italian traveler who once severed as an official in Yangzhou, and Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou, a group of Chinese calligraphers and painters active in Yangzhou during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), made their way to Suzhou's Changshu and Nantong's Qidong.

The museums will also hold a variety of educational activities such as lectures and study tours throughout the month. Many of them will also offer free treasure identification, voluntary guided tours and online viewing events.
