Guests will be able to sample morning tea, Yangzhou's renowned culinary tradition, at top establishments citywide from Feb 7 to March 8.
Cultural exhibitions
From Feb 17 to March 8, Yangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Treasures Hall will hold a boutique exhibition of classic Chinese paintings from the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou, a group of eight painters active in the city during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
Concurrently, a special lacquerware exhibition celebrating the Year of the Horse will run from Feb 14 to 28.
Yangzhou Jadeware Museum is hosting a master jadeware exhibition from Jan 24 to Feb 28.
Theater performances
From Feb 18 to 23, a series of 21 shows, including concerts, puppet shows, and talk shows, will be staged at the Yangzhou Grand Theater.
Special perks
Special offers include free entry to many of Yangzhou's major state-owned attractions for full-time university students during January and February.
Additionally, visitors born in the Year of the Horse will have free access to several major scenic spots during the Spring Festival holiday.
