A delegation from Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, visited Shanghai and Ningbo, Zhejiang province, on July 18 and 19, respectively, to participate in an event showcasing the charm of Jiangsu.
Coinciding with the soccer matches of the Jiangsu Football City league, dubbed Suchao, and the peak summer travel season, the city brought substantial benefits to the event.

From July to August, eight state-owned pay-to-enter scenic spots in the city, including Slender West Lake and the Daming Temple, will be offering free daytime access to primary and secondary students, university students, and international students across the country.
At the same time, the water bus service along the Grand Canal has waived admission and boat ticket fees, charging only a 10-yuan ($1.39) insurance fee for the cruise, with a daily online reservation limit of 300 people.
The Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport has opened exclusive fan channels for Suchao spectators from Yangzhou and Taizhou, providing complimentary VIP lounge services and free shuttle buses.

At the event, a tour route revolving around poetry and traditional morning tea was unveiled, showcasing the city's scenic beauty, culinary delights, historical heritage, and poetic charm.
During the city promotion segment, Yangzhou, in partnership with Nanjing and Zhenjiang, presented a captivating skit that highlighted their geographical proximity, shared cultural heritage, and collaborative development.

The Slender West Lake scenic area promoted its summer offerings, including night tours, evening performances, and night markets, while introducing an itinerary connecting several other popular attractions in Yangzhou like Geyuan and Heyuan gardens, along with preferential policies.
