Yangzhou has recently unveiled an immersive digital exhibition hall on Dongguan Street, a cultural gem of the city. This venue breathes new life into The Classic of Mountains and Seas, a fabulous geographical and cultural account of ancient China as well as a collection of Chinese mythology.

The exhibition showcases 168 rare ancient editions from home and aboard, along with woodblock prints and sculptures that bring mythical creatures to life.

Visitors will have the chance to wander through mirrored corridors with hundreds of lanterns modeled after mythical creatures, marveling at intricate designs and engaging in smart lighting interactions.

In an interactive game, visitors stand two meters from the screen, and then the system will generate a mythical creature mask using their facial features. Up to six people can play at once, capturing photos or videos to immortalize their fantastical transformations.
