A series of cultural and creative products, intangible cultural heritage items and popular landmarks from Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, attracted flocks of visitors at the 5th Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo in Suzhou, also located in the province, from Sept 21 to 24.
Six themed exhibitions revolving around canal city cultural and tourism boutique products, the canal cultural and tourism industry, canal signature tourism products, canal ICH and canal cuisine culture were held during the event.
More than 20 ICH items and cultural and creative products showcasing Yangzhou's traditional handicrafts, such as lacquer, paper-cutting and embroidery, were promoted at the fair.
Yangzhou ditty and puppet shows were also staged at the fair's opening ceremony, providing an immersive experience to visitors.
