Meihua Academy in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, opened to the public on March 24 after undergoing renovations.
The academy, which has a history of more than 500 years, was a prominent educational institute during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).
It now serves as a public cultural venue where students can buy and read books and participate in a variety of study tour events.
