The latest technologies applied in Yangzhou's Heyuan Garden were officially put into operation Aug 20, with the support of 12301.cc, a company that provides smart tourism distribution, marketing and ticketing services.

An acousto-optic tube machine that measures body temperature has been installed at the entrance to Heyuan Garden. The machine can take a visitor's body temperature in 0.1 seconds as they pass, even those wearing a mask. Its alarm will go off when confirming abnormal body temperatures.

"I've visited other scenic areas recently, and this was the first time I've seen a convenient channel for temperature checking," said a man surnamed Zhang from Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Wu Xiaojie, production manager of 12301.cc, said the company is offering information solutions for 3,000 scenic areas and partnering with 60,000 travel agencies and group purchase platforms. "We can help visitors and scenic areas get rid of risks and ensure quality tours," Wu said.

With the ticket-ordering system provided by 12301.cc, visitors can book for various periods to avoid crowding. Visitors who have booked online are able to scan their faces at the gate to enter the garden.

Heyuan Garden has also placed service robots at the entrance to provide visitors with tour guidance and information about the scenic spot.

Xu Liang, Party secretary of the management department of Heyuan Garden, said officials will continue to build a smart scenic area to provide visitors with better services.
