There are several popular places in Yangzhou for buying specialties, including Dongguan Street, the 486 Intangible Cultural Heritage Center and the area around Slender West Lake and Rainbow Bridge.

Dongguan Street is a traditional old street featuring many stores for time-honored brands, such as the Dongguan Sauce and Pickles Shop and Xiefuchun. Some other old streets such as Guoqing Road also sell traditional Yangzhou products.

The 486 Intangible Cultural Heritage Center displays and sells Yangzhou jade ware, lacquer ware, paper-cuttings, embroidery, rice-paper flower, miniature sculptures, and other traditional handicrafts.
