Over 500 medical workers from Jiangsu province were recently invited to admire the spring scenery at Slender West Lake in Yangzhou.
On March 27, the first group of over 300 medical workers visited Slender West Lake and tasted local food in Yangzhou.
A total of 64 members of the 7th Jiangsu medical team from Yangzhou who assisted local medical workers in Hubei province rested at the lake. After devoting themselves to treating patients and risking their own lives, the lake provided a perfect opportunity to enjoy some natural views.
Yangzhou has opened all of its state-owned toll tourist attractions for free to medical workers and public security officers in a show of respect for their hard work during the fight against the virus.
