Two villages from Yangzhou were recently shortlisted to become among the first Jiangsu Provincial Villages for Rural Tourism, local media reported.
The villages are Yanhu village in Hanjiang district and Chongling village in Baoying county.
The list, released by the Jiangsu provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, is part of the provincial government's efforts to cater to the province's growing demand for tourism products and services and facilitate the development of rural tourism.
