Few flowers can be seen in Yangzhou, East China’s Jiangsu province in winter, however, wintersweet is an exception.
The yellow clustered flowers of wintersweet have started blooming since the beginning of the year, bringing some much needed color to the gloomy, cold days of January.
According to local residents, Geyuan Garden, Zhuyuwan Scenic Spot, Slender West Lake and Shi Kefa Ancestral Tomb are some of the best places to view the flowers.
