As one of the six batches of national cultural and historical cities, the town is well preserved and remains bustling, with many shops to browse in and sights to see.
Here is a list of things to do and see in Daqiao town.
Visit Kaiyuan Temple
Kaiyuan Temple, with its former name as Guangling Kaiyuan Temple, was founded in the second year of the Kaiyuan period (713-741) of the Tang Dynasty. The name of the temple was inscribed by Li Yong, a local calligrapher from the Tang Dynasty.
Inside the temple stands a nine-floor tower built in recent years, where you can gaze far into the distance.
Another highlight in the temple is the amazing statuary works. Vivid Buddha statues with various sculptures have attracted a lot of visitors.
