The new campus of Guangling College, Yangzhou University is ready to embrace the upcoming spring semester after two years' construction.
Located at Hanjiang district, center of Yangzhou, the freshly finished campus covers a floor space of 531.3 mu (35.4 hectares) and meets the teaching and living demands of 13,000 students.
The campus is dotted with 20 establishments – the teaching buildings, laboratories, indoor stadium, academic exchange center, libraries, student and teacher dormitories, office buildings, and underground parking.
For Yangzhou residents, especially those living in Hanjiang district, the new campus is a signal of the city's proposal to develop high-end professionals into a new level.
"It will fuel Hanjiang's higher education development and meet the talent need of local research and smart industries," an insider explained.
