Yangzhou jadeware has six style categories, including furnace bottles, people, flowers and birds, and animals. Rich colors are applied. Many modern works have been named national treasures and preserved at the China National Arts and Crafts Museum. Great jadeware works have been created over the past decades. They retain traditional mellowness, and fullness and simplicity, while staying elegant. The art form in Yangzhou is the finest of China's jadeware.
