Cortaderia selloana, commonly known as pampas grass, recently came into bloom at Canal Sanwan scenic spot in Yangzhou, just in time for autumn.
The tall grass grows in dense tussocks that can reach a height of 3 meters. The flowers are produced in a dense white panicle 20–40 centimeters long on a 2–3 meter tall stem.
