China Family Education Museum, the first of its kind in China, opened in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, on Oct 13.
Located in the west campus of Yucai Primary School, the museum covers an area of 256 square meters.
The overall design of the museum focuses on showcasing elements of literary families in the Jiangnan area, regions south of the Yangtze River.
The museum is divided into five exhibition halls, displaying the features of a Chinese family education in history through various means such as playing videos and scenery simulation.
"Children are great observers as they are always watching what adults are doing. The most effective way for parents to let children form good habits is to have good habits themselves," said Zhu Yongxin, vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Education.
