The 40 oil paintings created by world-renowned Ukrainian artists have added a festive atmosphere to the opening of Slender West Lake Art Museum on Feb 10.
The art works, themed on the sceneries of Slender West Lake, Yangzhou's landmark, brought the elegance and beauty of this natural treasure alive.
Representative artists include Vasiliy Gulin, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Andriy Yalanskyi, deputy head of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
Jin Chuan, director of the Slender West Lake Scenic Spot, said the oil paintings were exhibited in celebration of the art museum's opening, which will be a window showing the Chinese and foreign artists' talent and also a creating base for them.
